Wee Beginnings Childcare and Learning Center is conveniently located at 53 Main St in Milo, within the historic Camden Bank building. Our operating hours are 5 :30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. We provide a comprehensive range of childcare services, including full-time, part-time, before and after school, and summer care, catering to children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. For added convenience, the elementary school bus picks up and drops off children directly in front of our center. Our childcare facility is dedicated to offering a rich learning experience for all ages, facilitated by our diverse and engaging curriculum. Our center provides pre k classes with a curriculum current to MELDS working with each child as an individual. We boast individual classrooms, including an infant/toddler room, a toddler room, and a preschool room. Additionally, we provide a private nursing area for parents. We actively encourage and welcome parent participation in their children's care and learning experience. Our center offers a range of amenities, including an outdoor play-yard, an indoor play-yard, and various areas designed for individual and group learning and play experiences. We are proud participants in the subsidy program/voucher, which helps reduce the cost of childcare through the state of Maine. All meals, snacks, and baby formula are included, with the option for parents to provide breast milk. The center also supplies baby food. For our infant room, we provide bibs, sheets, and new cribs for each child. While we do not supply diapers, we do offer wipes. Discounts are available for siblings. Furthermore, we offer a 'Parent Date Night/Break Night' once a month, from 5-10 p.m., where our staff and administrator will care for enrolled children, allowing parents a well-deserved break. After a solid week of enrollment, we also offer drop-in care, allowing us to 'get to know your child first.' In June we will begin to offer weekend care .
